Save the Sow Bugs!

We've had stretches of rain and stretches of sun. This has, of course, brought on the weeds. So this weekend I felt compelled to start weeding since these weeds were beginning to sprout seeds that would in turn bring on more weeds! What a vicious circle! My children decided that they also would help in the weeding. Now my approach to weeding is a total search and destroy mission. If a bug gets in the way of my weeding mission, I'm sorry, but it's just the circle of life. My children's approach is a kindler gentler one as they are mindful of saving the sow bugs and worms that are in the war path. They even had conducted somber burials for those poor sow bugs that did not make it though the battle.
