(Sorry...I can't figure out to get the pictures going in the right direction.)
I had fun helping my daughter and the rest of the scouts creating the board for their World Thinking Day event. Their country was Japan. And it was great to use my fancy paper cutting machine to make the images we stuck on the board! I had bought it with all intentions to use, but never set aside the time to really use the machine to make something. So this gave me a great excuse to get going on it. Then they made the little paper fan for their SWAPS (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere). I even made mochi for the first time!
